LAHORE:Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said that Pakistan is making every possible effort in Afghanistan s peace process, and the Afghan government will also have to fulfil its responsibilities for peace.
As many as 220 million Pakistanis are with Kashmiris and Exploitation Day will be observed on August 5 to highlight 729-day lockdown in Indian-occupied Kashmir as violation of human rights, said the Punjab governor while talking to Provincial Minister for Religious Affairs Syed Saeed Al Hassan and party delegations at Governor’s House Lahore.
He said work was being done to promote religious harmony and eradicate sectarianism in Pakistan. He said those conspiring to destabilise the country would not be allowed to succeed. Daily Times Punjab CM says Saudi Arabia always stood with Pakistan in every hour of trial

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar Monday said that people of Pakistan have a spiritual and warm attachment with Saudi Arabia and they consider it as their second home.
Ambassador of Saudi Arabia Nawaf Bin Saeed Ahmed called on Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar in Islamabad and discussed matters of mutual interest.
The chief minister said people of both countries are weaved in strong bonds of brotherhood and fraternity. “It is satisfying that both the countries enjoy historically important relations and Saudi Arabia has always stood with Pakistan in every hour of trial,” he stated.

MARDAN: Provincial Minister for Education Shahram Khan Tarakai on Monday said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government was trying to improve the quality of education in the country.
“There is no room for mistakes in the Education Department,” he said.The minister expressed these views while talking to the media at the Fazle Haq College during his visit.Mardan BISE Chairman Mtiaz Ayub, BISE secretary and principal of the college were also present on the occasion.
The minister said that the government was pursuing policies to ensure education to millions of students in the province.He said that the government was providing free education facilities to the students so that the province gets a prominent position in terms of knowledge.
