Mahindra Holidays posts ₹10-cr loss in fourth quarter

Revenue declines 24% to ₹465 crore
Mahindra Holidays has reported a loss of ₹10.1 crore during Q4 of FY21 compared to a profit of ₹164 crore in the corresponding period of last year. Its revenue from operations for the quarter that ended on March 31, 2021 was ₹465 crore, a decline of 24 per cent over the corresponding previous period.
The consolidated turnover was at ₹496.2 crore for Q4 FY21 as against ₹631.4 core in Q4 FY20. The company has managed to bring down its expenses by over ₹80 crore from the previous fiscal. Its total expenses for this quarter stood at ₹507 crore compared to ₹590 crore at the same time last fiscal.

The company had posted a consolidated loss after tax of Rs 161.51 crore for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Ltd (MHRIL) said in a filing to BSE.
Consolidated total income of the company stood at Rs 496.2 crore for the quarter under consideration. It was Rs 631.4 crore for the same period a year ago, it added.
For the fiscal year ended March this year, the company posted a consolidated loss of Rs 14 crore. It had posted a loss after tax of Rs 134.26 crore for the year ago fiscal, MHRIL said.

Mahindra Group firm Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Ltd (MHRIL) on Monday reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 67.34 lakh for the third quarter ended December 2020.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 2.03 crore for the same period of the previous fiscal, MHRIL said in a BSE filing.
Consolidated revenue from operations stood at Rs 489.14 crore for the quarter under consideration. It was Rs 588.26 crore a year ago, it added.
