The 28th death anniversary of late President Ranasinghe Premadasa was held at Hulftsdorp

Share: COLOMBO (News 1st): The 28th death anniversary of late President Ranasinghe Premadasa was held at the Premadasa statue near the Hulftsdorp Courts Complex this morning. Maha Sangha, including the Anunayake of the Malwathu Chapter of the Siam Sect Most Venerable Niyangoda Wijithasiri Thero and other religious leaders, were also present. Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa, the wife of late President Hema Premadasa, family members and many other dignitaries are present at the occasion. A moment of silence was observed in respect to the late President, along with multi-religious observances. Tri Forces and Police guard of honour was accorded while the Mayor of Colombo Rosy Senanayake garlanded the statue of the late President.
