DHAKA, May 2, 2021 (BSS) – Posts and Telecommunications Minister Mustafa Jabbar today urged all concerned for setting up a memorial museum in Satyajit Ray’s ancestral home to preserve the memory of such a great man, who is a source of pride for Bengal and Bengalis.
“I call upon the concerned people including cultural activists to come forward to make this great man (Satyajit Ray) forever memorable by setting up a memorial museum in his ancestral home in the village of Masua in Katiadi upazila of Kishoreganj district to preserve his memories,” he said.

DHAKA, April 30 (Xinhua) Chinese telecoms giant Huawei has started a special event titled Huawei Carrier Congress 2021 in Bangladesh with industry stakeholders from the country and elsewhere in the South Asia region.
The event was virtually inaugurated Thursday by Mustafa Jabbar, Bangladeshi minister of Posts and Telecommunications.
The congress which will last until almost the end of May aims to exchange views about technology trends and other aspects that may influence the tech world in the coming days.
Various MNOs (mobile network operators), including the telecom operators, partners, regulators, think-tanks, academia, from Bangladesh, Bhutan, and Nepal are expected to join this event in the next few days virtually, and also physically while maintaining precautions for COVID-19, a Huawei statement said.

DHAKA, Apr 29, 2021 (BSS): Posts and Telecommunications Minister Mustafa Jabbar today said that Bangladesh has already completed all the preparations to enter the 5G era by 2021 and by using it, Bangladesh will enter into a new era of agriculture, industry and information.
“5G is not just a high-speed digital connection, it is the backbone of modern technology in the digital age. We are working to make Bangladesh one of the best places to lead in the digital age,” Jabbar said that while speaking as the chief guest at the ‘Huawei Career Congress 2021, Bangladesh’ organized by Huawei on a virtual platform today, said a release.
