SKOPJE (North Macedonia), April 20 (SeeNews) - The Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) said on Tuesday it admitted to trading 15-year government bonds worth a total of 1.9 billion denars ($37 million/30.8 million euro).
The government paper which was admitted to trading includes 957.7 million denars worth of bonds without a foreign exchange clause that carry a fixed interest rate of 2.5% paid annually, the MSE said in a notice.
The bonds that will mature on April 15, 2036.
The bourse also admitted to trading 906.3 million denars worth of government bonds with a foreign exchange clause that carry a fixed interest rate of 2.2% paid annually. This issue will also mature on April 15, 2036.

SKOPJE (North Macedonia), April 19 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia s hotel and catering services company Makedonijaturist [MSE:MTUR] plans to use pre-2008 retained earnings to cover last year s loss of 35.4 million denars ($688,900/572,800 euro), it said.
The company also intends to allocate funds originally planned for bonuses to retained earnings, it said in a bourse filing on Friday.
The proposal will be put to the vote at a general shareholders meeting to be held on May 19.
Makedonijaturist said earlier that it closed 2020 with a net loss of 35.4 million denars, after booking a net profit of 106.1 million denars a year earlier.

SKOPJE (North Macedonia), April 19 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia s Hoteli Metropol [MSE:MPOL] said on Monday it is proposing to shareholders to cover last year s loss of 28.5 million denars ($555,000/461,300 euro) with retained earnings from previous years.
Hoteli Metropol s shareholders will vote on the proposal at a meeting scheduled for May 19, the hotel operator said in a bourse filing.
The company closed last year with a net loss after recording a net profit of 37.8 million denars a year earlier. Its sales revenue slumped to 59.4 million denars in 2020 from 209.9 million denars in 2019.
