Coventry council to discuss water rate increase tonight

COVENTRY — The town council will meet tonight to discuss how approximately $95,000 of COVID-19 relief funding will be allocated before the end of the month, hear why water rates will be increasing, and get updates on various town projects by Town Manager John Elsesser. The meeting will begin at 7:30. Council meetings are not open to in-person public attendance, but community members can participate by emailing their comments to audience@coventryct.org before 4 p.m. today, or watch the meeting online.
