A pig’s head has been thrown at the former home of a defence witness in the murder trial of former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin.
The incident occured in the early hours of Saturday morning in Santa Rosa, California, at a residence that defence witness and use of force expert Barry Brodd used to live in.
A person who resides at the house found the pig’s head on the front porch, and the area around it was splattered with blood. The police said that people dressed in black fled the scene as the person called the authorities.

Police officers over the weekend found a severed pig’s head and blood smeared on and around a doorway at a home in California that an expert who testified for the defense in the trial of former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin used to live in.
A group of vandals dumped the pig’s head in front of and splattered blood on the house in west Santa Rosa, the city’s police department said.
Photographs disseminated by authorities showed blood smeared across the home’s garage doors and splattered on and around its front door.

A group of people vandalized the former Northern California home of an expert witness who testified for the defense in the murder trial of Derek Chauvin, police said, throwing a pig s head on the front porch and blood splatter on the house.
