HUNTINGTON â Nonprofit group Solar United Neighbors (SUN) announced Tuesday the selection of Huntington-based Solar Holler to serve members of the Southeast West Virginia Solar Co-op.
SUN said in a news release that co-op members are working together to install solar on their homes and the group is accepting new members through March 31. The co-op is free to join and open to homeowners and business owners in Fayette, Greenbrier, Nicholas, Raleigh, Summers and southern Pocahontas counties.
âIf youâve ever thought about going solar, nowâs your chance,â Autumn Long, West Virginia program director for SUN, said in the release. âWeâre excited to be back and be working alongside a strong slate of local partner organizations, businesses and elected officials. We look forward to educating more West Virginians about the benefits of solar and helping them go solar on their homes, businesses and institutions.â

ATHOL Seven Hills Family Services (SHFS), an affiliate of Seven Hills Foundation, has been awarded a contract to operate a Family Support Center for the North Quabbin region by the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services (DDS). The North Quabbin Family Support Center will be located at 2280 Main St. in Athol.
According to a press release, the center will serve approximately 180 to 220 families annually and act as a hub of information, resources, supportive services and activities for people of all ages who have an intellectual disability (ID) or developmental disability, including Autism with and without ID, living with their family, and their family members.
