CMCO extended to Dec 31

PUTRAJAYA: The conditional movement control order (MCO) in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Sabah has been extended until Dec 31, said Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob. PUTRAJAYA: The government has announced more relaxation of Covid-19 standard operating procedures (SOPs) under the sports and tourism sector. The sports sector includes the resumption of the Malaysia Cup and allowing the country to host international-level sporting events. Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob (pic) said the Malaysia Cup tournament, which was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, can resume in January. For states under recovery movement control order (MCO), a maximum of 4,000 spectators or 10% of the seating capacity will be permitted. For states under the conditional MCO, matches will be played without spectators, while matches are banned for places under enhanced MCO.
