MUSKEGON COUNTY, MI – After waiting nearly two decades to realize his goal of leading the Muskegon County Board of Commissioners, Bob Scolnik said these are the right times for a moderate like him to take the helm.
Scolnik, a Republican who has represented the Norton Shores area on the board for 18 years, recently was voted by his colleagues to become the county board’s new chair.
Scolnik believes his job now is to get the county board focused and united on issues that matter to county residents.
