food reviews at the Olympics
Hi, all!
We have some kids at the top today: Malachi Fagan-Walcott, Tobi Omole, Kion Etete and Harvey White.
Ramble of the Day
I’d like to quickly recognize American volleyball player Erik Shoji for providing the information I crave: how good the food is at the Olympic Village. I’m not even on TikTok, but I’ve enjoyed his reviews of the food at the two dining halls because I was pretty curious.
I’m always curious about the food in a place like the Olympic Village, there more out of obligation in a way food than a regular restaurant might. The obligation always means a wide variety of outcomes, and really depends on the vibe someone’s going for. For example, there’s a difference between grabbing a bite to eat at the US Open and a school cafeteria, even if you have to fork up cash to eat at both.

All Championship eyes will be on East End Park tonight where Dunfermline host Raith Rovers as play-off football kicks off.
Who makes it all the way to the final, we’ll all have to wait and see.
However, one team who knows they are at least in the semi-final is Dundee – and they’ll most certainly be keeping a keen eye on events tonight and at the weekend.
Dens boss James McPake will be an interested onlooker tonight but who will he want to be facing next week?
