The idea of establishing a multi-million dollar Guindon Park Urban Campground got dusted off by Cornwall council earlier this week and will be studied further.
In an 11-0 vote, council carried a motion to have a newly-forming Waterfront Working Group study the idea and determine how to proceed.

“This is a really thorough (urban campground) report – it’s exactly what I wanted to see,” said Coun. Todd Bennett, in thanking Jamie Fawthrop, division manager, parks and recreation, for his efforts. “The only disappointment I have with it is the cost.”
