Built in 2020 by Sanlorenzo, the 28.93-metre motor yacht
AD 52 has been sold in Florida. Ariel Taubas from Sanlorenzo Americas represented the seller, whilst Ken Denison and Alex G. Clarke from Denison Yachting introduced the buyer.
AD 52 is one of the latest yachts from Sanlorenzo’s SD96 series yachts. She features naval architecture from her builder, Sanlorenzo, whilst her exterior is designed by Zuccon International Project and her interior is penned by Studio Patricia Urquiola. Deliberately designed to have a balanced aesthetic, her builder describes her interior as both ‘industrial yet artisan’, and focuses on warm and inviting undertones with a modern, sophisticated overall look.

The Marine Industries Association of South Florida held an in-person annual meeting and awards luncheon last Thursday at the Lauderdale Yacht Club in Florida.

MIASF CEO and president Phil Purcell discussed the year in review and praised the marine industry for its fortitude and resilience during the pandemic.
The 34.1-metre Westport motor yacht
Friendly Confines, sold, with a last known asking price of $10,850,000. The motor yacht’s sale was concluded by Mike Burke of Denison Yachting representing the seller.
Friendly Confines was built by Westport in 2015, and features naval architecture and exterior design from her builder. The motor yacht Friendly Confines, sold, has four cabins for the accommodation of as many as eight guests, she also hosts a crew of five.
The second hull of the 37.17-metre
Numarine 37XP series expedition yacht has been sold. The yacht is due to be delivered in 2022, and was sold to a repeat Numarine owner by Alex Clarke of Denison Yachting, and Ali Tanir of Numarine.
Numarine 37XP’s explorer aesthetic comes from the boards of Umberto Tagliavini and Can Yalman. The second hull of the series has a six-stateroom layout that can accommodate up-to 14 guests, plus accommodation for up-to 9 crew. Standout features on this expedition yacht include a TV room, Jacuzzi, upper sundeck, sky lounge, and a large boat deck that can hold three Jetskis and a 28-foot tender. She also has a beach club to her aft. Her sistership, the first hull of the series was sold in February.
