South Bend Tribune St. Joseph County police are still investigating a shooting at Castle Point Apartments in which a 10-year-old girl was shot in the jaw. County detectives continue to search for suspects, but have not determined if the shooting was accidental or not. Officers were first called to the Castle Point Apartment complex off Cleveland Road around 9:30 p.m. Saturday for reports of a girl who had been shot.  The 10-year-old suffered a bullet wound to her jaw and was taken to the hospital for treatment and was conscious and alert. The girl is still in the hospital in good condition, according to department spokesman Troy Warner.
