Fort Madison, Ia- The Lee County Narcotics Task Force has reported the arrest of a Fort Madison man on Felony and Misdemeanor drug charges.
34-year-old Mitchell Helmick of Fort Madison was arrested Wednesday, May 5th, 2021, in the 1600 block of 20th st. in Fort Madison.
Helmick was placed under arrest for warrants for Voluntary Absence from Custody and a Judgment Entry/Mittimus. Helmick was also charged with Possession with Intent to deliver more than 5grams of Methamphetamine 2 nd or subsequent offense, a Class B Felony; Possession of Controlled Substance 3 rd or Subsequent Offense- Marijuana, a Class D Felony; Drug Tax Stamp Violation, a Class D Felony and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a Simple Misdemeanor.

Montrose, Ia- The Lee County Narcotics Task Force reports the arrest of multiple Montrose residents on Felony and Misdemeanor drug and weapons charges.
40-year-old Jason Hartman, 45-year old David Paris, and 64-year-old Pearl Philip all of Montrose, Iowa were arrested on Tuesday, April 6th, 2021 in different locations.
Hartman was arrested at the Montrose City Hall and was charged with Felon in Possession of a Firearm; Possession of Ammunition by a prohibited person; Possession of a Controlled Substance- Methamphetamine 2nd Offense; Maintaining a Drug House, Unlawful Possession of Prescription Pills and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Paris was arrested at the Keokuk Police Department. Paris is charged with Possession with Intent to deliver more than 5 grams of Methamphetamine; Drug Tax Stamp Violation; and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Iowa City Police say a suspected drug dealer claimed he needed the money to pay for an upcoming move.
53-year-old Ken Greene of Boston Way was booked into the Johnson County Jail just before 4:30 Saturday afternoon. Iowa City Police pulled Greene over near the corner of Muscatine Avenue and Arthur Street just before 3:45 Saturday afternoon for driving a 2007 Chevy Impala without license plates. He was arrested for Driving While Barred.
Greene was wanted for a separate incident last month. Police say he was also pulled over at Highway 6 East and Keokuk Street just after 9:45 on February 6
th for a traffic violation and for not having any plates on his 2006 Buick Rendezvous. He was also arrested for Driving While Barred during that traffic stop, and a search of his vehicle allegedly turned up a digital scale with white residue, five baggies of meth, a baggie of marijuana, and approximately $160 in cash. Burlington, Ia- Authorities have announced the arrest of a Burlington man in connection with an ongoing narcotics investigation.
On Thursday, March 11th, 2021 the Southeast Iowa Narcotics Task Force along with the Iowa Department of Narcotics Enforcement (D, the Burlington Police Department, and the Des Moines County Tactical Response Unit (TRU) executed a search warrant on a residence in the 100-block of South 6th Street.
46-year-old Donald Demetric Gordon of Burlington (above) was arrested and charged with Possession with intent to deliver Methamphetamine, two counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Drug Tax Stamp Violation, and Possession with Intent to Deliver Heroin.
