The Prince of Wales has revealed which song used to give him “an irresistible urge” to dance as he discussed his favourite tracks on a hospital radio show.
Songs by The Three Degrees, Diana Ross and Edith Piaf were among those chosen by Charles on a special broadcast pre-recorded for the Hospital Broadcasting Association (HBA).
Speaking on the show, called Music & Memories With HRH The Prince Of Wales, the royal talks about how he has been “profoundly impressed by the dedication shown by our wonderful NHS staff and volunteers right across the country” and thanks them for their “sheer resilience and indomitable spirit” in “this most testing of times”.

The Prince of Wales has picked some of his favourite songs for a special radio programme marking the UK’s first ”Thank You Day”. The hour long special also celebrates the anniversary of the foundation of the National Health Service and will be broadcast just hours before the NHS marks its birthday.
Prince Charles has chosen thirteen songs for the show, all of them associated with important moments or parts of his life. Among the music making up his playlist is ”They Can’t Take That Away From Me”, performed by Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers and Charles Trenet singing ”La Mer”.

Prince Charles said the American soul music trio performed the 70s hit at his 30th birthday.

The Prince of Wales recently opened up being a great admirer of Streisand during an interaction at the Hospital Broadcasting Association program as per Times London. The broadcasting program reportedly aired on over 180 hospital radio stations on Sunday and featured 13 of Charles’ favourite songs including Don’t Rain on My Parade by Streisand.
