Snow might be on the way
For the first time in 2021, the much dreaded or beloved, depending on how you feel about it s word might be on its way for our area.
According to the National Weather Service there is an 80% chance of showers turning into snow Thursday night and Friday morning.
Snow is expected to primarily fall in Cleveland County, although Gaston County could receive a dusting. The north end of the county is predicted to see up to half an inch of snow and up to an inch in the Casar and South Mountain areas. Snow is expected to start falling around 3 a.m. and continue until around 10. a.m.
