Restaurants across Scotland joined the rest of the hospitality sector in reopening for the first time in months under new rules on Monday.
But the change in coronavirus lockdown restrictions includes some new rules that Scots will be expected to follow if they do head out for a meal.
As well as restrictions on the number of people who can get together, a new app has been launched for people to check in at venues.

Kingdom FM A new contact tracing app to support venues as they reopen has been launched today.
More than 6,400 businesses have already signed up for Check in Scotland, which supports firms in collecting the contact details of their visitors and customers.
It enables people to scan a QR code on a poster using their smartphone, or by downloading the app.
The Scottish Government says any details collected will be in a secure, encrypted data store unique to each venue for 21 days.
Hospitality, tourism and leisure venues, along with close-contact services, places of worship and services run by councils are among those being encouraged to join the scheme.

Check in Scotland app launches - Everything you need to know about the new contact tracing app A new digital service that allows businesses to conduct faster contact tracing in Scotland has launched. Over 6,400 venues have signed up to partake in the voluntary service for businesses in Scotland, which aids businesses in collecting the contact details of their visitors and customers. The Check-in Scotland service will enable people to quickly and securely provide their contact details by scanning the official Test & Protect Check-in Scotland QR code poster via their smartphone camera or by downloading the Check in Scotland app.
