Bryan Cook started his career as a field engineer for an international chemical company. He enjoyed building in his personal life but didn’t imagine it as his profession until he toured a job site with his girlfriend, an intern with JE Dunn in Colorado Springs.
Since joining the company himself, Cook has done projects in Denver, Spokane and Pendleton. In Portland, his work includes the Collaborative Life Sciences Building & Skourtes Tower for Oregon Health & Science University, Portland State University and Oregon State University.
“Each of these projects brought opportunities to experience new regions, new teams and new challenges,” he said. “I’ve been a part of some great work extending from Hillsboro to Santa Clara, California, to Malta, New York. Our geographic footprint continues to expand and I keep getting to experience something new everywhere we go.”
