Today s announcement by SweetSpor Group, the firm behind the Women s Tour, has been timed to coincide with International Women s Day. Taking place in October, the race will be part five of 2021 s Women s Tour, which is part of the UCI Women’s WorldTour series. It will showcase Colchester s new £29 million Northern Gateway Sports Park, which features a one-mile, closed-road cycling circuit.
