Over 300 appointments will be available for coronavirus jabs at a Lincoln pharmacy next week, but they must be booked in advance.
Lincolnshire Co-op runs Newland Pharmacy, where a coronavirus vaccination centre opened in March that aims to administer 80 doses a day.
The appointments are for anyone over 45 or eligible for the first COVID-19 vaccine or people looking to book their second AstraZeneca dose.
The second dose can be booked at the pharmacy even if the first dose was done elsewhere – slots can be booked through the NHS’ national booking system here.

There have been 53 new coronavirus cases and no COVID-related deaths in Greater Lincolnshire on Thursday, down from 63 cases and one death this time last week.
The government’s COVID-19 dashboard recorded 34 new cases in Lincolnshire, 12 in North Lincolnshire and seven in North East Lincolnshire.
On Thursday, no deaths were registered in North East Lincolnshire, -2 in Lincolnshire and -1 in North Lincolnshire. Fluctuations in data can occur for a variety of reasons including corrected data, misdiagnoses or wrong addresses. These figures include deaths both in and out of hospitals, as well as residents in hospitals outside the county.
Ministry accused of purdah breach as Cornwall deal announced amid PM’s election visit
The Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government has been accused of breaching the spirit of purdah rules after announcing towns deal money to Cornwall during local government’s politically restricted period as Boris Johnson made a pre-election visit to the county.
MHCLG yesterday trumpeted a £23.6m package for Truro to “boost the local economy, create jobs and improve local skills, helping the county build back better from the pandemic” - just one month before Cornwall has all-out elections.
Although local government’s purdah period of pre-election restrictions began on 29 March at the latest, civil service guidelines are different. While the “period of sensitivity” is “not fixed to any particular date”, the guidelines state “general convention is that special care should be taken in the three weeks preceding the elections – in this case from 15 April 2021”.
North Kesteven approves £4.95 council tax rise

North Kesteven District Council has unanimously approved a £4.95 annual council tax increase for 2021/22 – just under 10p a week.
This means residents in a Band D property will pay £174.60 annually for the district council’s precept share, up from £169.65 the previous year.
This 2.92% increase in council tax was given the go ahead in Tuesday evening’s Full Council.
Cllr Richard Wright, Leader of North Kesteven District Council said in the meeting: “The council’s financial plan underpins all that we do as a council and projects a positive yet cautious future.”
