WAYNE TWP. The winners of the April 13 spring turkey shoot at the Ellwood-Wampum Rod and Gun Club were Chuck Ferrari, Paul Lightner, Aaron Kelly, Spencer Renner, Howard Allison and Maria Smith.
Jerry Sadler and Howie Watson were double winners. Adam Kelly won the evening s door prize, and Alana Dicks won the season s door prize.
April 13 was the final spring turkey shoot. The officers and directors of the club would like to thank those who helped each week with the shoots.
The trap shoots will now take place on Tuesdays, beginning April 20, as the spring turkey shoots have ended, and fall turkey shoots will begin Sept. 7.

The target of a 78 per cent cut by 2035 (compared with 1990 levels) is a significant hardening of the government s earlier position of slashing carbon emissions by 68 per cent before 2030 as part of its legally-binding pledge to achieve a net-zero economy by 2050.
