Dear, Honourable Prime Minister.
I refrained in the past years from seeking a political intervention of the highest. But, must do so. Hon. Prime Minister, I am requesting your intervention for an urgent, justly rectification of a dangerous situation, caused by a “Wrongful Created Private Botch Road within and across a Natural Watercourse, above Clarke’s Road, St. James. That happened under a previous B.L.P Government.
I will outline two main reasons for requesting your intervention upfront, the other reasons will become apparent.
(1)The fact that a remedy is yet, to be carry out by the Chief Technical Officer of M.T.W, who has the authority to do so.

Hundreds of Barbadians who purchased Government units or paid deposits many years ago, have started to receive refunds.
Minister of Housing and Lands Dr William Duguid confirmed yesterday that the funds, which were being given in cash and bonds, were made available from the end of last month.
He said he was pleased Government was in a position to rectify a wrong situation.
“These are people who would have paid for houses but never got conveyance, but would have qualified by virtue of being in them for 20 years.”
In December the minister announced that 576 tenants from 21 of Government’s 49 housing estates would be refunded to correct what he described as “unfair” act and an anomaly. He explained that some tenants got their units free of charge under the previous Democratic Labour Party administration, while the others paid towards theirs.

A well-known vagrant who frequents Oistins and the surrounding areas has taken up residence at the old public library building at Oistins, Christ Church, under the noses of police officers and environmental health officers.
A concerned resident who drew the matter to the attention of the Daily Nation expressed shock that the vagrant was able to move onto the Government-owned property, which is sandwiched between the Oistins Police Station and the Randall Phillips Polyclinic.
A visit to the library showed that the man had taken over the entire rear balcony which faces the Oistins beach and turned it into his personal abode.
