A hapless burglar who attempted to break into a Fred Perry shop in Cardiff was unsuccessful and was caught on CCTV.
Louis Mifsud, 40, was seen with a crowbar trying to force the door of the clothing store in the Hayes at around 3am on May 2 and was with unknown men.

TOMS RIVER - A judge has ordered a suspect be held pending trial in the attempted murder of a woman and aggravated assault during a pursuit following what authorities said was a road-rage incident in Jackson on May 8, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said in a prepared statement.
Michael S. Mahan, 28, of Ewing Township, is facing charges of attempted murder, two counts of aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon, terroristic threats, and eluding, according to Billhimer.
Judge Wendel E. Daniels ordered Mahan s continued detention on Wednesday.
The incident happened at approximately 4:50 p.m., when township police were called for a report of a stabbing incident on Maria Street, police said. Upon arrival, police found a woman suffering from a large slash across her face and bleeding heavily.
The Ewing man who allegedly attacked a Jackson woman following a road-rage incident earlier this month, will remain in the Ocean County Jail pending trial for Attempted Murder, as orders by Judge Wendel Daniels, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer announced on Wednesday.

The woman he attacked was treated at the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Jackson Police found her laying on Maria Street with a large gash on her face from being cut with a knife by Mahan who also held the knife to her neck.
A Ewing man involved in a road rage incident followed a woman to her home and slashed her in the face on Saturday afternoon, according to Jackson police.
Police said Michael Mahan, 38, got out of his car at her home on Maria Street around 4:50 p.m. and punched the woman. He then held a knife to her throat and stabbed her.
A neighbor tried to intervene before Mahan left in his 2018 Kia, according to police, who found the woman bleeding heavily from a slash across the face. She was taken to a hospital.
Police did not disclose the circumstances of the road rage incident or identify the woman.

JACKSON – A road rage incident that occurred on Maria Street in Jackson eventually resulted in an attempted murder charge being lodged against a 38-year-old male resident of Ewing Township, Mercer County.
According to the Jackson Police Department, on May 8 at 4:50 p.m., officers were dispatched to a reported stabbing incident on Maria Street. Police Officer Robert Reiff arrived at the scene and found a female who had sustained a large slash across her face. Police said the female was bleeding heavily.
Police said an investigation determined the female had been followed to her residence by an unknown male who initiated a confrontation with her over an alleged road rage incident.
