Doyle welcomes progress on new drainage work on Balmers Bog to alleviate Ardee Road flooding

LMFM By Ruth O Connell Homes in the area have been subjected to ongoing flooding issues in recent years Plans to improve drainage and alleviate ongoing flooding issues in the Ardee Road area of Dundalk have moved a step forward. The municipal district s monthly meeting was told that this Friday is the deadline for tenders for work at Balmers Bog, although the start of work on the four month project is dependent on Level 5 Covid restrictions being lifted. Fine Gael Cllr. Maria Doyle says she hopes that there are no further hold ups:
