(WXYZ) â Sheâs 83-years-old and bedridden in a nursing home. So why couldnât she get her second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine until 7 Action News got involved?
In Michigan, more than 200,000 vaccines have been given out in nursing homes thanks to the federal partnership with pharmacies. But not all of those nursing home residents received their shots, and some like Margaret Rogowski are missing their second doses.

The Mineral Wells ISD board of trustees unanimously approved increasing the budget for the new agricultural facility from $1 million to $1.6 million Monday night.
âI do feel that we need the ag barn, I think weâve needed an ag barn for years,â MWISD Superintendent John Kuhn said. âWe do have one and it has served its purpose, and a lot of kids have raised animals out there, but we do have a lot of kids that arenât participating because of the ag barn â space is limited, but the location is the real problem.â
The current ag barn is at Fort Wolters, which Kuhn said is pretty remote and isolated. The new facility will be at the high school.

The former Grace Chapel in the city of Jamestown is one step closer to becoming a dance studio
The Jamestown Zoning Board of Appeals last week approved a use variance for Jaclyn Ferraro and Vicky Haskell, who want to transform the former church, located at 379 Buffalo St., into Dancing With Victoria dance studio.
Earlier this month, the board tabled the use variance petition because of some questions on whether the change from a church to a dance studio meet the four criteria points to allow for a use variance to be issued.
