Chilean film about Pinochet s dictatorship premiered today
Santiago de Chile, Apr 9 (Prensa Latina) Chilean filmmaker Tatiana Gaviola premieres on Friday her most recent film production, Mirada Incendiada, based on the known Los Quemados case, which led to protests against the dictatorship in Chile and abroad.
The film tells the fictional story of the last months of photographer Rodrigo Rojas de Negri s life, who along with Carmen Gloria Quintana was burned alive by members of the military dictatorship during a protest against Augusto Pinochet. The news in 1986, with the ferocity of setting fire alive to two young men of 18 and 19 years old, was something that kept forever in my memory and in the collective memory, Gaviola said to specialized media.
