Aces of Trades: Angela Carbetta is the litter lady for Marion County

MARION – She’s affectionately known as “the litter lady.” Her official title is director of Marion County Recycling & Litter Prevention. She’s Angela Carbetta.
“My role is to convince people recycling and litter prevention are important,” she said, “and then to help implement environmental education initiatives and programming to make that happen.”
“Every day is different, wonderful and fun,” she added. “One day I’m at the statehouse speaking on behalf of Keep Ohio Beautiful’s new license plate campaign, and the next day I’m digging through a recycling dumpster breaking down cardboard boxes.”

Park Forest, IL-(ENEWSPF)- Did you put your shovel away? Might be time to dig it out again. Winter’s stubborn grasp has not let up yet. Monday shows a chance of April showers, but Monday night brings a transition from showers to snow. Tuesday? There’s a 70% chance of the white flakes falling.
According to the National Weather Service, after a Sunday night of isolated sprinkles before 9 pm, it will be partly cloudy, with a low around 43. There will be a southwest wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
