The province announced on Sunday 1,516 new cases across the province. There are currently 17,935 active cases across Alberta, while there have been a total of 170,795 positive tests. There are also 451 Albertans in the hospital for the virus, 103 of which are in ICUs. Locally, Fort McMurray added 66 new cases and 20 recoveries which raises the active total to 752. The rural areas saw no changes, keeping the total of active cases at 19. Wood Buffalo National Park remains at zero active cases.

Of those cases, 150,820 people have recovered, or 88 per cent of all cases. 1,516 cases were reported in the past 24 hours.
