Floyd Bekoski, 73, who resided at the Wood Drive Home in Coldwater, passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital.
Floyd was born October 31, 1947 in Coldwater to Anthony and Eva Bekoski. Floyd has been a staple of the ADAPT family since starting with the Day Program Services in 1981. He moved into the Grant Street Home in 1987 and resided there until the home closed and he moved to Wood Drive in October of 2019.
He seemed very happy there and built some great relationships with the staff and his housemates. He had a personality that made a positive impact on everyone he met. He was a great friend, very near and dear to many. He often called people names other than their own and he referred to his caregiver Joanna Wing as âSallyâ. According to employees he had âSallyâ wrapped around his finger.
