Nursing home and related deaths
At least 621 of those deaths are of nursing home residents, residents of assisted living and adult care facilities, according to state data. That is more than 53% of the total fatalities.

The seven-day rolling average positivity rate for Monroe County was 1.6% on Thursday.
There were 180 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 since the last update. The seven-day rolling average of new cases is 119 per day. The total positive cases to date: 53,571.
On Tuesday, in the Finger Lakes region, 134 people were hospitalized, 38 of them in ICUs.
