Noida: Several NGOs and individuals offered to help children who have lost one or both parents to Covid after a TOI report that there were 555 such kids across the state. The Noida-based Board for Research, Education and Development (BREAD) has offered to not only monitor the government funds for these kids but also help them with amenities if required.
Prashant and Rakhi Jain of Sector 76 told TOI they, too, wanted to help such children with food and other needs. “We have been making donations to several NGOs, but we are not sure where our money is going. We want to help someone directly. The cause highlighted by TOI seems to be the right one,” said Rakhi.
