Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd (KPTL) on Wednesday said it has won orders worth Rs 1,554 crore.
The orders include those from India, CIS and Latin America in the power transmission business, KPTL said in a statement.
Besides, KPTL s international subsidiary has secured new power transmission projects in Europe. These new order wins help us to strengthen our power transmission order book in India and overseas market. Our current year order inflow has reached around Rs 8,000 crore and additionally we have good visibility across all our businesses. Our order book visibility with low debt gives us confidence of growth from long-term perspective, KPTL Managing Director and CEO Manish Mohnot said.

Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited (KPTL), a leading Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) player in the power and infrastructure contracting sector has secured new orders worth Rs 1,554 crores.

Kalpataru Power Transmission rose 3.02% to Rs 375.20 after the company s consolidated net profit surged 132% to Rs 308 crore on 10.7% rise in net sales to Rs 3501 crore in Q3 FY21 over Q3 FY20.Profit before tax grew by 138.4% to Rs 410 crore in Q3 FY21 over Q3 FY20. Current tax expense jumped 76.2% to Rs 74 crore in Q3 FY21 over Q3 FY20. Core EBITDA inched lower to Rs 383 crore in Q3 FY21 from Rs 384 crore in Q3 FY20. Core EBITDA margin dropped by 120 basis points to 10.9% in Q3 FY21 from 12.1% in Q3 FY20.
Consolidated order book stood at Rs 27,532 crore as on 31 December 2020. Received orders worth Rs 13,744 crore for YTD FY21, with L1 position of around Rs 3,850 crore.
Infrastructure major Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd (KPTL) has posted more than two-fold jump in consolidated net profit to Rs 308 crore for the December quarter. The company said its revenue grew by 11 per cent year-on-year to Rs 3,501 crore in Q3 FY21 while core earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) stood at Rs 383 crore with margin of 10.9 per cent. Significantly, KPTL s standalone net debt declined by 39 per cent to Rs 612 crore and consolidated net debt by 36 per cent to Rs 2,343 crore as December 31, 2020 due to better collections and efficient working capital management. The company s order book stands at Rs 27,532 crore. The board of directors has recommended a dividend of Rs 8.50 per share (that is 425 per cent) for face value of Rs 2 per share.
