We were punished for not prosecuting NDC corrupt officials - NPP s Ebo Mensah reveals
Ebo Mensah, a member of the Communication team of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) says one of the reasons the party was punished in the recently held election was because they failed to deal with corrupt officials in the erstwhile Mahama administration.
Contributing to a panel discussion on Neat FM s Me Man Nti programme, he said: One thing we were punished for is that: Nana Addo decided to build the economy instead of going to court even though we had the evidence to jail the corrupt NDC officials. He decided to put that aside and focus on the development of Ghana.the thinking is that you (NPP) claim you have evidence against some corrupt NDC officials yet they re not being prosecuted, and so they voted against us. It is an eye-opener.let s revisit and jail them
Mahama, NDC MPs to boycott Akufo-Addo s inauguration?
Kwaku Agyekum Asare a member of the Communication team of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has hinted that former President John Mahama will not be attending the inauguration ceremony of President-elect Akufo-Addo.
It may be recalled that in 2013, the now ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) also refused to attend the inauguration ceremony since they were contesting the results of the election.
It seems history may repeat itself; just that this time, it is the NDC.
Speaking to Adakabre Frimpong Manso on Neat FM’s Me Man Nti programme, Kwaku Agyekum Asare said he doubts if the former president will show up at the event.

Founding President of IMANI Africa, Franklin Cudjoe says it s wrong to liken some alleged mistakes being made by madam Jean Mensah to Afari Gyan
Some political pundits claim it is not out of the ordinary for the current Electoral Commission to make errors because a similar situation occurred when Kwadwo Afari Gyan was the chairperson.
In response in an interview on
Neat FM s Me Man Nti programme, Franklin Cudjoe said it s wrong to make such comparisons because in Afari Gyan s time he was “more respectful, humble, he was accommodating of the opposition…of course, he did tell the opposition to go to court…but Afari Gyan was far far better in acknowledging mistakes than my current EC…she didn t even want to meet the NDC and that was arrogant in display; you see when you are incompetent and you are arrogant as well the two don t mix at all
