OhioHealth honoring veterans
MARION - Small American flags now line the new public walking path at OhioHealth Marion General. Associates from the hospital s intensive care unit on Saturday - Armed Forces Day - placed 440 flags along the path as a tribute to veterans. The flags will remain in place through Memorial Day. They were donated by the hospital’s ICU, ER, 4 South and centralized nursing departments.
The .38 mile walking path is eight feet across and located along McKinley Park Boulevard from the corner of Delaware Avenue to McKinley Park. It was funded by the hospital’s TWIG I group in order to leave a wellness legacy. The public is welcome to use the path, open from dawn to dusk every day.
