09:30 | Lima, Mar. 6. The Ministry of Health (Minsa) on Saturday affirmed that the Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine reached an effectiveness of 79.34% in phase III of clinical trials in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), according to the Beijing Institute of Biological Products.
Minsa made this clarification after Ernesto Bustamante said in a local TV program that Sinopharm vaccine s Wuhan strain had only 33% effectiveness, while the Beijing strain vaccine had 11.5%.
