21:27 | Lima, Jul. 25. A total of 353,261 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine were applied during the third uninterrupted 36-hour Vaccinathon held on July 24-25 at 22 vaccination centers in Lima and Callao.
This was confirmed via Twitter by the Ministry of Health (Minsa), whose information was updated until July 25.
The vaccination campaign was open to all people aged 40 and above, teenagers aged 12-17 with Down syndrome, as well as those who had not received the second dose, so as to complete the vaccination scheme.
On the other hand, Minsa reported that the vaccination centers set up in Metropolitan Lima Area and Callao region will not be open on Monday, July 26.
