Chantal Fahmy is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice at The University of Texas at San Antonio. She earned her Ph.D. in Criminology & Criminal Justice from Arizona State University in 2018. Her research interests focus on the health consequences of incarceration, prisoner reentry and reintegration, social determinants of health, and institutional corrections. Her recent work has been published in Criminal Justice & Behavior, Sociological Methods & Research, Journal of Criminal Justice, and Journal of Adolescent Health.
