PGA TOUR University Ranking features six players within fractions of a point near the 15th position, the cutoff for pro playing privileges when the NCAA DI Championship concludes this spring.
Cooper Dossey (Baylor) is currently 13th with an average of 975.348, which is less than four points better than 18th-ranked

An infectious diseases consultant who treated the UK’s first coronavirus patients said he never thought there would be 100,000 Covid-related deaths in the UK.
Consultant Dr Matt Schmid, who led the team that treated the first patients at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle, said the national network of infectious disease units acted as a “buffer” for the wider NHS in those early weeks.
Initially, coronavirus patients were only treated in high consequence infectious disease (HCID) wards like the isolated 18-bed unit in Newcastle.
Speaking ahead of the January 31 anniversary, Dr Schmid said: “I’m being honest, I didn’t think by this time we would have over 100,000 deaths.

On a cloudy day with temperatures in the low 50s, winds of 20 miles per hour and minimal rain at North Ranch Country Club, the Yellow Jackets posted a 17-over-par score of 305 Tuesday. Tech finished seventh in a field loaded with some of the nation’s top programs with a 38-over-par total of 902. The 11 of the 12 teams posted scores in double digits in relation to par Tuesday on the 6,992-yard, par-72 layout. The team that didn’t, San Diego State with a 5-over-par 293, rallied to win the team title.
Westlake Village, Calif. – Will Dickson shot a 1-under-par 71 Tuesday, and No. 20 Georgia Tech improved nine strokes for a 6-over-par 294 and is tied for sixth place after the second round of the Southwestern Invitational. Dickson is Tech’s top individual after 36 holes, tied for ninth place at even-par 144.

TECH LINEUP – Lamprecht, a native of George, South Africa ranked the No. 2 amateur in his home country, bogeyed the first two holes in his collegiate debut, but rallied to record four birdies against two bogeys the rest of the way, and is tied for sixth place, four strokes off the individual lead.
