The family of Fiji’s third victim to have lost his life to COVID-19 are slowly preparing for his farewell ceremony.
Ramesh Kumar, 53, who passed away on May 5 will be cremated tomorrow at the Lovu Crematorium in Lautoka.
His death was publicly announced by the Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Health and Medical Services, Dr James Fong.
It was also announced that before his passing, Mr Kumar had refused a swab test.
