WEST FARGO Despite fielding numerous complaints and concerns in recent weeks regarding the city s purchase of five homes along Sheyenne Street as a development incentive, one commissioner s motion to reconsider the sale failed Monday night.

Mandy George said since the project was approved, she has heard from many residents who were upset by what they saw as a lack of transparency by the commission, recent zoom meetings of the commission did not work for public input and appraisals were not done. WEST FARGO The City of West Fargo will buy five homes along the 500 block of Sheyenne Street North for about $1.5 million with plans to raze the homes, use the land temporarily for parking and later sell it as an initiative for development.
