Not over yet: Rain expected to peak again

Heavy rain is expected to continue through the weekend with showers predicted to peak again overnight, the weather bureau said. The Sunshine Coast has been hit with heavy rainfall with some areas recording up to 137mm of rain since Friday. Forecaster Peter Markworth said widespread rain was set to continue across the long weekend until conditions start to ease on Tuesday.
