A Temple man turned himself in to Killeen police Wednesday after he admitted to shooting a man because he was allegedly âbeing jumped by three people.â
Lakeith Leeshawn Moore, 24, of Temple, was booked into the Bell County Jail Thursday on a charge of aggravated assault bodily injury with a deadly weapon.
On April 27, according to an arrest affidavit, Killeen police were dispatched to the 300 block of Gilmer Street in reference to a shooting and a gunshot victim.
Upon arrival, a woman at the scene told police, âshe and (Moore) got into a verbal argument outside the apartment complex when Moore stole her car keys and cell phone and started walking off,â according to police.
The Bell County Jail released the images of three men arrested in connection with a gun deal and fatal gun fight which left one teenager dead near Harker Heights High School on Tuesday.
Endy Neri Soto, 19, was booked into the Bell County Jail on a charge of deadly conduct discharge of a firearm â a third-degree felony. Sotoâs bond was set at $500,000 by Justice of the Peace Gregory Johnson on Thursday.
Ethan West Trainer, 19, was booked into the Bell County Jail on a first-degree felony charge of aggravated robbery. His bond was set at $125,000.
Taja Monroe West, 21, was booked into the Bell County Jail Thursday, charged with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon and is being held on a $500,000 bond.

A suspected burglar was found sleeping at St. Maryâs Catholic School Monday, police said.
Sandy Whitfield, 38, of Temple, was arrested after officers responded to a burglary call shortly after 8 a.m. Monday at the campus, 1019 S. Seventh St.
Officers observed Whitfield lying on two couches inside the school gym, Temple police spokeswoman Alejandra Arreguin said.
âOfficers woke up Whitfield and placed him into handcuffs,â she said.
Police found food items Whitfield had eaten as well as cash believed to come from the schoolâs petty-cash drawer.
Whitfield told police he entered the building through an unlocked door, consumed chips, candy and a soda from the concession stand but did not take any cash.
