The German group has released the MHX7 650 Dirt Edition a slightly post-apocalyptic take on the large luxury SUV and one of the first attempts
The V8 has been tuned to make 650 hp.
When conjuring up existing SUVs on the market that could serve military duty with just a couple of modifications, what springs to mind? Perhaps a Jeep Wrangler? Or maybe an armored Toyota Land Cruiser? What probably makes less sense in this application is the lavish BMW X7, which is pretty much a raised 7 Series with extra space for cargo and passengers.
Manhart knows its way around BMW s lineup and decided that a beefed-up X7 was just what the world needed, so here it is. It s officially called the Manhart MHX7 650 Dirt Edition and it s based on the powerful BMW X7 M50i. The X7 s long body has been finished in a custom design foil with a 3D rivet design and a distinctive matte black brushed finish.
