MCSO: 28 burglary cases solved, seven suspects arrested in combined effort with multiple agencies

WACO, TX â The McLennan County Sheriff s Office, in a combined effort with multiple agencies, made seven arrests as part of a large burglary investigation.
About 28 cases have now been solved, according to MCSO.
The arrested individuals were identified as Justin Holt, 31, Kyle Holt, 29, Kacee French, 30, Robert Eakin, 27, Andrea Muniz 28, Nicholas Lobban, 24 and Angel Jaimes, 25.
The charges include burglary of a habitation, burglary of a building, credit card abuse, theft of property over $2,5000, theft of a vehicle, engaging in organized criminal activity and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.

LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - On Feb. 25 and 26, deputies with the Jefferson County Sheriffâs Office (TX) conducted a joint human trafficking operation aimed at identifying and assisting victims of human trafficking, as well as holding those that traffic and exploit them accountable.

AUSTIN, Texas – The Texas Public Safety Commission (PSC) along with Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Director Steven McCraw presented one Purple Heart and eight Lifesaving Awards to members of the Texas Highway Patrol at the PSC meeting on Thursday at the DPS Headquarters in Austin.
“The Texas Highway Patrol has highly-trained, outstanding men and women who embody the DPS motto of courtesy, service, protection, while doing extraordinary things on a daily basis,” McCraw said. “I’m proud to recognize the DPS Troopers today who selflessly went into dangerous situations in order to serve people throughout Texas, saving lives in the process. It’s a privilege to recognize them for their heroic actions.”
Mugshot released of suspect in Mason County Courthouse fire

Miller allegedly set the fire because he was upset over a previous family court case.
MASON, Texas - The McLennan County Sheriff s Office has released the mugshot of the suspect who allegedly started the Mason County Courthouse fire. Nicholas Miller was captured near Waco after driving through Burnet, Georgetown, and Temple.
County Judge Jerry Bearden called the fire a real tragedy. He says they originally got a call on February 4 at around 10 p.m. about the fire.
Multiple fire agencies from nearby towns were called and Judge Bearden says by about 1:30 a.m. everything was destroyed. He says all that is left is basically the walls and outside pillars.
HSI received information in November 2019 that between March 1 and April 17, 2016, Joe Meadors conspired with an unknown subject to commit the murder of two victims
