Pune lockdown news updates: Pune, one of the worst affected cities in Maharashtra by Covid-19, has decided to impose night curfew from 6 pm to 6 am starting tomorrow (Saturday, April 3). Hotels, restaurants, bars, shopping malls, markets and religious places will also remain closed for at least one week. The decision to impose these curbs was taken during a review meeting chaired by Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Friday. The administration has allowed only home delivery of food, medicines and other essential items. No public function, except funerals and weddings, will be allowed. After asking employees and officials not to wear T-shirts and jeans at office, the Maharashtra government on Tuesday amended the order by dropping jeans from the prohibition. Government employees must not wear T-shirts while on official duty, the new order said.
