Did you see the rainbow that shone over Jalgaon on Monday? Forty-year-old transgender Anjali Patil of the Vanchit Bahujan Aaghadi (VBA) emerged as one of the winners of the much talked about gram panchayat polls in Maharashtra, whose results were declared on Monday.
Anjali won from Bhadli Budruk village in Jalgaon.
About 1.25 lakh other candidates also emerged victorious in the elections held last week.

Maharashtra Gram Panchayat Election Results 2021 Updates: No clear winner has emerged so far in the Maharashtra Panchayat Election 2021 with both the opposition Bharatiya Janata Party and the ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) claiming victory. As votes were being counted till late Monday, Congress leader and minister Balasaheb Thorat claimed 80 percent of the panchayats were won by the MVA alliance partners. Former CM and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis claimed that the saffron party has emerged as the single largest party.Â
Counting of votes for the Maharashtra Gram Panchayat elections began on Monday morning at amid tight security. There are 27,920 gram panchayats in Maharashtra.

Mumbai: The Maharashtra Gram Panchayat Election 2021 Result was declared on Monday. The elections to 12,711-gram panchayats in 34 districts in Maharashtra were held on January 15. The counting of votes started at 9 am and by the end of the day, the Maha Vikas Aghadi claimed that it registered a huge win . The Opposition BJP, on the other hand, said that it had come out stronger.

Mumbai, Jan 18: About 1.25 lakh candidates on Monday emerged victorious in the Gram Panchayat elections held in Maharashtra last week, the outcome which the ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) claimed a huge win while the opposition BJP said it had come out stronger.

Though the village panchayat elections are not fought on party symbols, panels are fielded by political parties or local leaders.
Leaders of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) claimed that the MVA comprising the Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress has scored a big win in the polls, counting for which was held on Monday.

Mumbai, Jan 18: The Maharashtra Gram Panchayat Election 2021 Result is all set to be declared on Monday. The elections to 12,711 gram panchayats in 34 districts in Maharashtra were held on January 15. The counting of votes started at 9 am.
According to the recent updates, Shiv Sena leads in 331, while the BJP is ahead in 266. Meanwhile, the NCP has bagged 221 gram panchayats and Congress 147 in the polls.
Raj Thackeray s Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) was ahead in five seats.
The State Election Commission has announced that voting for 162 gram panchayats in six talukas of Gadchiroli, a Naxal hotbed, will be conducted on January 20.
