Arizona AG Seeks Injunction to Invalidate Biden Admin s Termination of Border Wall Construction

Arizona AG Seeks Injunction to Invalidate Biden Admin’s Termination of Border Wall Construction Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich filed a motion for a preliminary injunction while amending his previous lawsuit on Monday, seeking to void the Biden administration’s decision to stop border wall construction and to substantially reinstate former President Donald Trump’s “Migrant Protection Protocols” (MPP) also known as the “Remain in Mexico” policy. “There is no doubt that the Biden Administration’s immigration policies are causing a humanitarian, public safety, and environmental crisis at our border,” Brnovich said in a statement. “I will do everything I can to stop their destructive actions and protect Arizona.”

Kobach: Biden Helping Free Illegal Alien Child Rapists, Domestic Abusers

CBP 5 Jul 2021 Former Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, now running for Attorney General, says President Joe Biden’s “sanctuary country” orders are helping release into the United States illegal alien child rapists, domestic abusers, and drunk drivers. Last week, a number of Texas sheriffs and the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Division of the Federal Police Foundation filed a lawsuit against the Biden administration for orders it issued in February that prevent ICE agents from arresting and deporting illegal aliens unless they have been recently convicted of an aggravated felony, are terrorists, or are known gang members. Kobach, representing the Texas sheriffs and the law enforcement group in the case, told KWBW Radio that the Biden orders effectively require ICE agents “to start breaking federal law and the sheriffs are suffering because that has fueled the crisis down and along the border in south Texas.”

Keystone XL Pipeline Developer Seeks $15 Billion in Damages From US Energy company TC Energy has said it’s seeking $15 billion in damages from the United States government over President Joe Biden’s decision to cancel the Keystone XL pipeline project. In a statement on July 2, the Canada-based company said it had filed a notice of intent with the State Department to begin a legacy North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) claim under the U.S.–Mexico–Canada Agreement. The company said it aims to “recover economic damages resulting from the revocation of the Keystone XL Project’s Presidential Permit,” adding that it suffered a loss of more than $15 billion “as a result of the U.S. Government’s breach of its NAFTA obligations.”
