MOSS, Science Center to host online trivia night for families

Montana Science Center (MSC) for another awesome science trivia evening. Challenge your neighborhood rivals to some good ol’ brain buster fun and prepare your team cheer!

The Ugly Onion is bringing it back! Order when you register for trivia and pick up at MSC before the event begins. Pizza orders must be in by January 26th so register early. A delicious, entertaining evening with proceeds supporting STEAM education in our community as an added bonus.

Science Center, Bozeman Health & Food Bank join forces to distribute STEAMkits

Montana Science Center, in partnership with BozemanHealth and the Gallatin Valley Food Bank has created
take-home science kits to be provided to families throughout our community. 75 kits were delivered to the Gallatin Valley Food Bank on Friday, January 15th and will be distributed in January through the Food Bank’s education department. These STEAMkits focus on keeping the body healthy with a different topic for each of the kits. They are designed to encourage children in first through fifth grades to engage in science while at home through a series of hands-on activities.

MSU, American Computer & Robotics Museum present remote sensing exhibit

BOZEMAN A new exhibit at Bozeman’s American Computer & Robotics Museum highlights the dynamic field of remote sensing and features remote sensing applications and instruments developed and used by Montana State University researchers and industry partners.
The
“Earth from Above” exhibit provides museum visitors with an overview of remote sensing – from its origins to today – as told through a collection of key artifacts and biographies of some of the dynamic personalities who pioneered the technology. The exhibit is presented in conjunction with “Earth from Space,” an informative photographic exhibit from the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibit Services.
