And thatâs not the only drag show set for January.
Drag Race UK will premiere on January 14, and cast members include Asttina Mandella, a London dancer whose resume includes performances with Little Mix and Kanye West; Cherry Valentine from Darlington, who describes herself as âa beautiful lady possessed by the devil,â and fashion designer AâWhora.
Thereâs also a Scottish performer, Lawrence Chaney, who says sheâs âa mix of Rab C Nesbitt and Susan Boyle.â Bimini Bon Boulash is one of Drag Raceâs rare non-binary performers, as is Ginny Lemon. Joe Black, a popular British burlesque performer, is sure to turn heads as well.

Digital Spy, Divina admitted she found the return to set initially quite stressful following her own experience on the show, though thankfully it turned out to be joyous in the end. It was the actual set, she revealed. Obviously, they fumigated and did all of the spraying and everything. That s just because of me [laughs]. But it was on the set. I was really stressed about that. Sister Sister, a 32-year-old queen from Liverpool will also be hoping to snatch the crown, and Welsh contestant Tayce, 26, is a self-confessed fashion queen.
Finally, 30-year-old Tia Kofi hopes to “keep old school drag alive”, while Lancashire-born Veronica Green will pull on her experience as an actor and opera singer.

Drag Race UK saw The Vivienne take the crown, with Baga Chipz and Divina de Campo also reaching the final. The season also launched the Frock Destroyers – a girl band consisting of Divina De Campo, Baga Chipz, and Blu Hydrangea – whose debut album
Frock4Life was released last week.

The girl group which consists of Baga Chipz, Blu Hydrangea, and Divina de Campo first formed on the inaugural season of
RuPaul’s Drag Race U.K., where they performed their earworm of a single, “Break Up Bye Bye.” The track made herstory by hitting #3 on iTunes and entering the Big U.K. Top 40 at #10, becoming the first top-10 hit in the U.K. charts to be performed by a drag group.
